We're pretty partial to all the hardy members of the aroid family and the Philodendron 'rojo congo' is up there with the hardiest of the hardy.
This philodendron's easy-going nature, and vigorous growth makes it one of the easiest house plants to keep - especially for anyone who has previously had a brown thumb. Unlike many philodendrons the 'rojo congo' is not a vining plant but instead new growth appears from the
- Dramatic new red leaves which mature to burgundy/green
- Glossy foliage
- Will thrive best in evenly warm temperatures (18-38c are ideal) & bright indirect light
